This look was one of my favorites this past week and I wanted to share it with you guys hoping that it might spark something inside of you to really go for it (whatever it is), for me “it” is getting dressed in the morning.
In this case, the magic was in the details and even though it was not my intention in the beginning this outfit came out looking very “Gucci”, and of course I love it.
I started off with a pair of vintage men’s trousers and paired them with this incredible vintage Givenchy Sport sweatshirt that I scored at the thrift for, get this, $2.99! Crazy! (Side note: About two weeks later I scored another one at Goodwill for only $6 bucks!)
I tied a silk scarf with beautifully hand-painted florals around my neck, which added a fun element that paired nicely with the print of the sweater and softened the overall look. Of course no fall look is complete without a jacket, and I love the 70’s appeal of this leather one that I picked up at Crossroads. It’s just too cool.
Everything is vintage/thrifted (always), except for the shoes. They are Nine West and I got them at Nordstrom Rack. The heel is the perfect height for every day wear and the pointed toe gives the appearance of longer, slimmer legs.
