Staying Optimistic In A Time of Crisis

During times of uncertainty, it’s important to remain calm and kind to one another. I am truly warmed by all of the supportive content being shared on social media, and I guess that’s a sign that I’m following the right people. I also wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about my situation and how I’m staying positive while also staying safe.

Much like the people I look up to, I try to find the light in difficult situations and the current pandemic is no different. First, I’ve helped myself remain calm by reading only what I need to know about COVID-19 and that’s the facts. Second, I am taking recommended safety precautions whenever possible because at the end of the day nothing can be worse than battling the virus itself. And as far as finance goes, my store will be closed for the next two weeks and until things actually do take a turn for the worse I’m choosing to see this all as an opportunity to catch up on self-care and creative ventures, like this here blog.

To keep it short and sweet, it isn’t going to help anyone if we’re all stressed out. My best advice is to use your time wisely – go for a hike, read a book, try a new recipe, catch up with friends and family, anything but stress. Just remember that whatever you do you are the light and what you put out into the world affects us all.

Save yourself the worry and get the FACTS about COVID-19 here.
